Starship Has Flown Twelve Times, Failed Five; Moon Landing Still Two Years (And Two Weeks) Out
SpaceX's Starship had completed 12 launches as of May 2026, with seven successes and five failures. NASA targets the Artemis III crewed lunar landing by the end of 2027 — a date that, like all such dates, is approximately two weeks from slipping.
